Christian sings only for movie script - 2007-10-29
Christian Bale says he learnt to sing and play guitar only for his new movie I'm Not There, but he will not foray into the music universe. The Welsh actor, who trained listening to CD and watching DVD’s to portray Bob Dylan, said at last night’s the premiere, "I had people teach me how to sing and play guitar and all that." He also said he got along weel with Director Todd Haynes, “ [He] sent me the script - I saw that it was completely chaotic and confusing, I didn't bother reading it, I read little bits and said, 'yeah sure'."
Christian to be Solid Snake? - 2007-09-13
It’s being rumoured that Christian Bale would be Solid Snake in the 2009 movie Metal Gear Solid.The innuendo comes from UK lads' mag Nuts, which reads, "He's tipped to play Solid Snake in the film version of the classic game Metal Gear Solid." However, Bale hasn’t confirmed or denied the reports. Meanwhile, his western remake 3:10 To Yuma is hitting theathers tomorrow.
Bale plays with a poison spider on the set of latest movie - 2007-07-26
Christian Bale was horrified while film his upcoming movie “Rescue Dawn” in Thailand when a wildlife expert advised him how poisoned was the spider he was playing with. The actor, who performs a prisoner of Vietnam War in the movie based on a true story, was told that one bite of the spider was enough to kill. "One day we saw this beautiful spiderweb. I was tapping the spider, and he'd run around. Then an expert came along and said, 'Wow, look at that spider. It will kill you with one bite," Bale said. Rescue Dawn opens this Friday
'The Dark Knight' shooting under fire - 2007-04-27
According to reports, the roof of a 17 floor building set of the movie "The Dark Knight" caught on fire last tuesday morning. Luckily, the "Batman" sequel' s cast, starring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gary Oldman, suffered no injuries during the blaze. Christian Nolan's film is expected to be release on July 18,2008
